In the past when I had this issue, I managed to put paparazzi into these roles, but I couldn't figure out how I had done that previously. I tried to assign someone to the food booths myself, but couldn't actually find anyone free to do so. Turjan-I'll have to check my settings in register as I very rarely change settings in that mod. I don't drink much either, but as to being insane or not, well, I do play sims 3 rather obsessively. Igazor, now that I think about it, she probably would have even been delighted to do so, as though she's not a big drinker, she is a party animal and insane! I guess my sim was offering her friendship in gratitude for them getting it all worked out without her having to actually perform such a lowly job! Turns out it was the new female maid that took the place of our male maid, the one that lost that position when he was chosen for food booth merchant.

I would try other approaches if you want to limit the sims in the homeless pool. Those settings are nothing but trouble in my experience.
